‘Understanding and meeting the needs of pupils affected by Domestic Abuse and supporting you as a DSP’
This workshop will provide an overview of the needs of pupils who have been exposed to domestic abuse in their home situations. This will include information on prevalence and impact as well as pupil views on school experience. It will then provide time to consider the emotional impact of working with domestic abuse as one type of safeguarding concern. The workshop will offer practical steps to monitor well-being and draw upon coping resources will be shared to enable staff to plan support structures for their own individual contexts.

Places are limited to two people per school. There will be no charge to attend the workshop.
